SENIOR SOC ENGINEER (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid work

Location : Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid : 3 days on-site, 2 remote)

Language Requirements : Fluent English and Portuguese

Experience : 5+ years

Sector : Informática and telecomunicaciones (IT)

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and want to shape the future of SIEM architecture across multiple regions? Join a transformative, high-visibility project where you will define the national implementation strategy of Microsoft Sentinel, establishing the gold standard for future deployments in a multinational group.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the deployment and management of key SIEM platforms :

Microsoft Sentinel

IBM QRadar

Other modern security tools

Collaborate in designing scalable and secure architectures across geographies

Solve complex cybersecurity challenges with a proactive and analytical mindset

Support automation and scripting (Python or equivalent) for SOC operations

Promote best practices in incident detection, response, and monitoring

Who We’re Looking For :

A skilled SOC professional who brings :

Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SIEM implementation

Strong background in cybersecurity operations and SOC platforms

Solid knowledge of Linux systems and scripting (Python or equivalent)

Familiarity with logging systems, Windows / UNIX OS, and network security fundamentals

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit

Analytical, creative, and solution-driven mindset

Fluency in English (B2+) and Portuguese
