Emagine is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a strategic international initiative in the automotive finance sector. This is a key role within a dynamic and growing IT hub in Porto, focused on building scalable, secure, and automation-driven infrastructure to support global business applications. The selected professional will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust container-based platforms and deployment systems.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Analyze and define platform requirements for VWFS applications across multiple markets.
  • Plan, deploy, and configure Kubernetes clusters and container environments.
  • Design and implement automated software deployment and distribution pipelines.
  • Lead containerization efforts for both modern and legacy systems.
  • Apply and maintain security best practices across platform services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful go-live transitions.
  • Maintain system documentation and deliver structured knowledge transfer to service providers.

You bring :

  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering and working with container platforms.
  • Solid experience with Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker, and Java-based environments (Oracle, OpenJDK, JBoss EAP / Tomcat).
  • Proficiency in automation using Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
  • Familiarity with GitOps concepts using Flux, Kustomizations, RBCS, and Network Policies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools including Bitbucket, Concourse, Artifactory, and Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Understanding of ITIL v3 and service management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure including Load Balancers, TLS Certificates, Firewall Rules, and Network Zoning.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace and Grafana.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex enterprise environments.
  • Comfortable using Jira and Confluence.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
