A software development company focused on the specialised finance industry, with a market share of around 80% in Portugal, is hiring a Senior Business Developer for the Iberian market. With a profound knowledge of the industry and close partnerships with clients, the company develops applications that meet market requirements and respond to increasingly complex needs. Their solutions provide comprehensive business coverage, significantly reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency for their customers. Its office is located in Sintra.

Your new role

As a Senior Business Developer, you will be responsible for business development activities, including :

• Identifying and generating new leads in Portugal and Spain.
• Developing and maintaining high-level relationships with decision-makers, including financial directors and legal teams.
• Managing long and complex sales cycles (over 1 year).
• Negotiating and closing complex contracts.
• Collaborating with technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Exploring opportunities to develop business in Latin America and other countries.
• Working closely with the sales team in Portugal and a colleague in France to support proposal development.
