As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic sales plans to drive business across the hotel’s key segments, with a particular focus on MICE, Groups and Catering & Banqueting (C&B). Your role involves identifying new revenue opportunities, managing key client accounts, and ensuring alignment with the hotel’s commercial objectives. Working closely with operational teams, you will help deliver seamless and tailored experiences for clients, from initial planning through to the execution of contracted services.

- Manage daily activities, plan and distribute tasks while ensuring full team coverage at all times;
- Develop and enhance team performance through coaching and feedback, setting development and performance goals for team members, and recognizing strong performance;
- Train team members to ensure compliance, meet standards, and have the necessary tools to work efficiently;
- Recommend and / or initiate all HR-related activities when needed;
- Foster a positive work environment that supports team success – connect departments to create a unified team experience.
Financial
Achieve individual or team sales targets and maximize profitability;Meet budgeted revenues and personal or team sales goals while maximizing profits.Participate in the development of the department’s annual financial and operational plans, as well as the hotel’s commercial and marketing strategies;Contribute to the creation of the department’s financial and budget planning, including the hotel’s marketing strategy;Develop and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and boost volume and catering / banqueting sales;Produce monthly sales reports and forecasts to analyze current / potential market trends, coordinate revenue-generating activities, and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed planned targets.Guest Experience

Proven experience in hotel sales, business development, or account management within the hospitality sector.Strong ability to create and execute strategic sales plans to drive occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and total revenue.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build long-term relationships with corporate and event clients.Confidence in representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client visits.Results-driven mindset with the ability to set, monitor, and achieve commercial KPIs.Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (PMS, CRM tools) and experience with market segmentation and pricing strategies.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and to participate in hospitality trade shows.Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are considered an asset.Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative spirit to work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and revenue teams.
