Our client is a stealth-mode startup based in New York, operating out of New York University Future Labs, focused on revolutionizing AI-driven growth platforms. Their team is composed of talented professionals from top tech companies, united by the mission to solve real-world problems through innovative AI solutions.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer , you will play a critical role in shaping both our product development and business strategy.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our remote-friendly team and work on cutting-edge projects that will shape the future of AI-driven growth platforms.

Responsibilities :

  • System Architecture & Backend Development : Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering AI-driven workflows and data services.
  • API & Data Infrastructure : Build and optimize APIs, ETL pipelines, and microservices for high-volume data ingestion, processing, and delivery.
  • AI & Automation Integration : Collaborate with ML engineers to support AI agent integration, enabling semi-autonomous growth actions like outreach, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • Cloud Infrastructure : Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS (or similar), with a focus on resilience, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Performance & Security : Ensure backend performance, stability, and data protection standards across all systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in both software engineering and AI / ML.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other general-purpose languages (e.g., Go, Node.js).
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS : EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools, Git, containerization (Docker), and serverless architecture.
  • Ability to build and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines.
  • Strong experience integrating external APIs and third-party data sources.
  • Strong grasp of security best practices and backend performance optimization.
  • Experience working with LLM infrastructure, LangChain, or similar agent-based architectures.
  • Methodologies & Tools : Comfort with Agile, version control systems (e.g., Git), and testing frameworks.
  • Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Startup Experience : Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and 0 to 1 product experience.
  • Nice to have : Frontend Expertise : Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with libraries / frameworks like React.js and Angular.
