Portuguese company hires for remote work

Location : any EU country

Important : This is a 100% remote role, but the candidate must be based in the EU and available to travel to Lisbon once a month, if needed.

Language Requirements : Fluent English and Portuguese

Seniority : 5+ years

Contract : 6-12 months, with potential extension

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using GoLang
Implement and manage observability tools like Otel, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo
Automate infrastructure using Ansible
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
Maintain code quality, structure, and automation

Required Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

At least 5 years of experience in software development, with strong focus on GoLang

Hands-on experience with observability tools (Otel, Grafana, Loki, etc.)

Proficiency in Ansible for infrastructure automation

Solid grasp of software development principles and design patterns

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Team player with excellent communication skills

Nice to Have :

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and pipelines
