Join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving the success of Q Energy’s portfolio projects! As a crucial link between the Engineering, Business Development, and Project Management teams, you will take charge of overseeing the grid connection process during our projects' construction phase. If you are skilled in project management for the Grid projects (Substation and HV Lines), and ready to make an impact, this is your chance to be a vital part of Q Energy's growth and innovation!

Your Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project designs / plans, timelines, and budgets for the Grid projects (Substation and HV Lines) to connect renewables projects.
  • Ensure the quality, schedule and budget of such projects.
  • Supervise the contract terms and conditions of the EPC contract with the client and subcontractors.
  • Manage and / or support the process to connect with the Grid operator, including DGEG administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate external and internal interdisciplinary project teams , including the reporting of the projects' progress, related documentation and virtual data rooms.
  • On-site supervision of the execution process, HSE standards, and review of existing conditions and to identify technical risks.
  • Review and approve incoming project invoices and project costs management according to the internal directives.
  • Support the Procurement Team during the tender process and selection of subcontracts and suppliers for Grid works .
  • Be the "communication channel" to all involved parties (clients, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, authorities and other third parties).
  • Review all project documentation for preparation, from design to construction.
  • Lead pre-construction services including design, budgeting, and tendering for various services and components.
  • Manage the transition from construction to operations , ensuring a smooth handover to the operations team.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
  • You have experience in working with TSO / DNO (REN, ERedes, etc) ) in connecting substations and HV lines.
  • You possess strong technical expertise in managing subcontractors' agreements, with a proven ability to coordinate across teams like EPC and Business Development.
  • You are highly detail-oriented, proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks, and great at stakeholder management.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
