Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting a  Key Account Manager .

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customer´s management structure;
  • Applies the business strategy defined for each business line;
  • Focuses the actions on Value Selling, knowing our product specifications and its impact on our customer health economics;
  • Maintains a current and in-depth knowledge of all products in the range;
  • Assures the compliance of the agreements and service levels with customers;
  • Articulates the Company’s resources (specialists, product managers, technical support) for specific projects and problem resolution;
  • Provide troubleshooting support to customers on request and prepare and perform comercial and clinical / technical presentations upon request;
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers, especially clinical customers including Key Opinion Leaders;
  • Attend regional and national meetings if / when requested to.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably degree Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or similars);
  • 3 years’ experience in a clinical or sales healthcare environment; selling or supporting products in healthcare industry;
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the medical device industry, with a focus on ultrasound products.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device market, including medical industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
