CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a full-time position.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to) :

Lead and manage the design development process for data center projects.
Collaborate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive design solutions.
Ensure compliance with Nordic / European building codes, industry regulations, and sustainability practices.
Oversee the preparation and review of architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Drive design optimization to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational performance.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet design objectives.
Coordinate with stakeholders to incorporate client requirements into design solutions.
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues early in the process.
Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data center design.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the design team.

Qualifications :

Data center experience required.

Senior – Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience with data centers is a must.

Bachelor's or Master's degree study in Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in design management, business management preferably within the data center, industrial, or commercial construction sectors.

Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems in data center environments.

Familiarity with Nordic / European building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with tight deadlines.

English Proficiency is mandatory both written and oral.

We are looking for someone who :

Strong background of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Experience working in mission-critical facilities, such as data centers, hospitals, or energy infrastructure.

Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient solu tions in data center design.

Ability to effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.

Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

Great organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and high-quality standards.

Knowledge and experience to work with the Data centers international standards, like ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, TIA, EN50600.
