Senior Backend Engineer

Descrição da vagaProven expertise in web development, with mandatory experience in Golang and / or NodeJS; Proficiency in SQL language and database management (familiarity with NoSQL databases is an advantage); Capability to write efficient, reusable, and high-performing code; Strong understanding of Software Engineering patterns, particularly in Web Services development; Experience with caching tools such as Memcached or Redis is a plus; Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes and related tools; Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and problem-solving abilities; Solid written and technical English proficiency. Remote - but candidates must reside in Portugal.

What You’ll Be Doing :
- Keep up-to-date with the latest web technologies, software architecture principles, and design patterns;
- Understand current workflows and contribute to the development of new lifecycles, prioritizing software quality processes;
- Take an active role in training and enhancing the skills of other web developers;
- Continuously monitor performance in production environments;
- Design and execute load tests while analyzing application performance;
- Develop our professional web-based application with a focus on dynamic interactions and responsive design;
- Build analytics dashboards and tools for web-based data visualization;
- Collaborate closely with our clinical team to define the optimal system workflow from the user's perspective.
