Senior Java Consultant

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with a minimum 7+ years of experience in Java development to join our team in Dublin. This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application / system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Must have experience of backend development using Java 8 or 17, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, MQ, REST, Oracle, JBoss etc. Also, must have experience with CI CD.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
• Extensive experience in Java programming including transaction management, Microservices, Rest APIs, XMLs, Junit, etc.
• Good knowledge of databases, PL / SQL
• Good analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies
• Experience working with Build tools (Maven, Bit Bucket, Jenkins)
• Good ability of gathering and understanding the requirements
• Previous experience of working in Agile
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a distributed large global team
