Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team of database experts. The hire will take part on BT Operations delivering, day-to-day routine tasks, database architecture, and managing tasks of our data platforms both cloud-based and on-premises. Should be available to participate on On-Call Support.

The role will include support other BT teams (applicational) as well as business teams, on several data initiatives, by ensure optimal systems performance, deliver compliant data architecture. All deliveries must be compliant with our data architecture and Organization frameworks and rules.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for data, and a collaborative mindset.

Job responsibilities :

1. Manage cloud and on-prem data platforms;

2. Collaborates with the regular platform operation;

3. Support Data Replication solutions (SQL replication, CDC, ADF, etc.);

4. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills, performing the analysis to solve it;

5. Knowledge of best practices on IT operations in an always-available service model;

6. Write technical documents and be a process oriented consultant;

7. Designs data integrations respecting existing data patterns and security guidelines;

8. Optimization of cloud architecture and costs;

9. Works closely with all business and application teams, translating business requirements into data architecture;
