Our client is looking for an HR Generalist to support the recent hub implemented in Porto, in a part-time position, reporting directly to Luxembourg.

Description

  • Act as the sole HR representative on-site in Porto, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR Operations, while collaborating closely with the Group HR team in Luxembourg.
  • Provide administrative support to the Group HR team (recruitment, employment contracts & documentation, training, reporting, compliance,etc.).
  • Maintain and update internal HR systems,ensuring accuracy and compliance Portugal labour laws.
  • Assist with payroll coordination, including data collection and liaising with external providers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees in Portugal, offering guidance and resolving HR related queries in a timely manner.
  • Lead and support recruitment efforts for both locations, from posting job ads to onboarding new hires.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, templates, and procedures that align with Portugal regulations and the group's global standards.
  • Support training and development activities,including identifying training needs, organising sessions, and coordinating external providers
  • Prepare regular HR reports for the group HR team, contributing to group-wide decision-making processes.
  • Provide proactive assistance with HR projects and initiatives while addressing the unique needs of both locations.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional HR experience in Portugal.
  • Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour law and regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously as the sole HR representative on-site while collaborating remotely with the group HR team in Luxembourg.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with HR software or HRIS (knowledge of HiBob is a plus).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset but not required.
