Locations : Multiple across Ireland

Contract : Full-time, Permanent

Schedule : 40 hours per week (including day and night shifts under a 24 / 7 roster)

Start Date : Ongoing placements from Summer 2025

PeoItaly, on behalf of a leading Irish healthcare provider, is seeking qualified and compassionate Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants to join residential teams across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission while building a long-term career abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in a residential setting
  • Promote independence, dignity, and community integration in daily life
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and mobility support
  • Contribute to the maintenance of individual care plans and documentation
  • Participate in household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding procedures
  • Liaise professionally with families, team members, and external stakeholders
  • Work flexibly according to the 24 / 7 service model, including night shifts and weekends

Candidate Profile

  • Must hold an EU passport
  • Must possess a valid EU manual driving licence
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Minimum qualification : QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) in healthcare or social care
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards is an advantage
