Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Cloudflare, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines to support our cloud-native applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage scalable and secure AWS-based cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
- Configure and manage Cloudflare WAF, CDN, DNS, and Zero Trust services to optimize and secure web applications.
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices (GitOps preferred).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
- Implement infrastructure and application monitoring / observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK).
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve development workflows using scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Ensure cloud security best practices are applied across all environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).Proven experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.).Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Experience with Cloudflare, including WAF, DNS, CDN, and access / security configurations.Proficiency in CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS / AKS / GKE or self-hosted).Good scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).Familiarity with Git and source code versioning practices.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.Nice to Have
Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Load Balancing, Bot Management, or Zero Trust.Knowledge of Service Mesh (e.g., Istio) or API Gateways (e.g., Kong).Certified AWS or Kubernetes credentials (e.g., CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer).Previous experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.Familiarity with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or C#.Languages
Fluency in English is mandatory.Portuguese or Spanish proficiency is a plus.Work Mode
