The Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to support the financial reporting and budgeting process across the Limestone Capital group and its funds. You will be a part of the finance team and work closely with the other team members and senior stakeholders helping to scale financial operations in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting fundamentals, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to take ownership of recurring tasks while supporting broader financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Group and Fund Reporting

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly consolidated financials
  • Support fund reporting
  • Harmonize financial reporting processes across the group
  • Streamline reporting cycles and reduce lead times

Budgeting & Forecasting Responsibilities

  • Manage the Club’s full budgeting process and monitor actual performance against forecasts.
  • Oversee Stripe account management and associated financial operations
  • Support budgeting and financial reporting for corporate entities within the group
  • Accounting

  • Process and track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely booking and reconciliation
  • Manage banking operations, including salary, tax, and vendor payments
  • Coordinate monthly payroll and employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
  • Support tax filings and social security payments in collaboration with external providers
  • Review financial reports (P&L, balance sheet) for accuracy and assist in intercompany loan tracking
  • Audit and Compliance

  • Coordinate the audit process with external service providers
  • Ensure timely and accurate audit delivery
  • Support with KYC requests
  • Liquidity Management

  • Support liquidity planning for group and fund entities
  • General Support

  • Be willing to step in and assist with other finance-related tasks as needed
  • Contribute to the growth and improvement of financial operations and systems
  • Requirements :

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including income statements and balance sheets, and double-entry bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic modeling)
  • Strong written and spoken English skills, Portuguese is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in financial reporting or fund accounting is a plus
  • Prior exposure to real estate, hospitality, or private equity sectors is a plus
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in audit, financial controlling, or fund administration
