What You'll Be Doing :
- Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Preparing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and audit schedules.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with other finance team members and stakeholders across different business units.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Analysing financial data and providing insightful reports to management.
- Participating in projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Shared Service Centre.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS).
What You'll Bring :
College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualificationDeep and broad understanding of accounting incl. VAT regulationsProven experience (2+ years) in a General Ledger accounting roleStrong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS).Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is highly desirable).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong Excel skills (including vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Fluency in English is essential, and one additional European language (preferably Swedish, French, Italian, or Spanish)
