Purchasing Assistant / Junior Buyer for Material Category Rubber (m / f / div)

Your contribution to something big :

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant / Junior Buyer for Material Category Rubber to join our team.

Supplier & material field strategy : Supports the analyze of part family data, identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization, and develop and implement part family planning strategies, demonstrating a deeper understanding of supply chain optimization and cost reduction through part family management.

Support specialist buyers in negotiations (e.g., on quantities, prices, delivery dates and conditions, cost assumption). Prepare key data (e.g., sales, structure, market and competitive situation) for this purpose.

Ramp-up and Ramp - Down activities : Independently secure capacities with suppliers for new projects, demonstrating a deeper understanding of supplier capabilities and leading the coordination with suppliers to ensure readiness for increased demand.

Bottleneck Management : Assist in identifying and communicating material shortages at suppliers to internal stakeholders, supporting in the coordination of alternative sourcing options and expediting orders to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Stakeholder Management : Proactively communicates topics and finds best solutions for Bosch.

IT Systems : Masters and improves the IT systems used at Purschasing (PILUM, SAP)

Qualifications

What distinguishes you :

Education : Master's degree

Experience and Know How :

Good analytical skills.

Negotiation experience is a plus.

Languages : Fluent in English.

Knowledge of German is a plus.

Working Style and Methods :

Ability to manage business relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers.

Personality :

Self-motivated and able to cope with difficult situations.

Team player with flexibility.

Good communication skills.
