As Information Security Architect (f / m / x) , you will contribute to building digital products that meet industry-standard Information Security standards.

You will support, enable, and encourage our development teams, work closely with the Information Security Community of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, and grow with us.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

You will join our Business Operations department. Our multi-disciplinary IT Security Team, working across Portugal and Germany, aims to establish a tailored Security Culture for Mercedes-Benz.io. Ensuring compliance with regulations and security controls while maintaining our agile and modern work style is a key challenge we embrace.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to drive and develop our Information Security Management System, support our teams and departments, and maintain cutting-edge security documentation.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Act as an evangelist for Information Security, helping us build the automotive industry’s most innovative E-Commerce products
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Information Security into product and service design
• Develop threat models, implement technical countermeasures, ensure secure failover, provide defense in depth, and promote least privilege access
• Support cloud and internet-facing projects with security consultations and architecture reviews
• Define security controls in line with Mercedes-Benz Group policies
• Assist with information classification, risk analysis, and service continuity management
• Coach teams to ensure product implementations align with security standards
