Consolidation Manager – Ascendum Group

We’re seeking a highly experienced, technically skilled, and people-centric Consolidation Manager to lead and enhance Ascendum’s group consolidation process. As the hands-on lead, you’ll coordinate all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring precision, compliance, and continuous improvement in line with our values of humanism, autonomy, and innovation .
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the group-wide consolidation process , ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including intercompany reconciliation and elimination of transactions.
Guarantee compliance with IFRS, US GAAP , and other local GAAPs across Ascendum’s global footprint.
Drive process improvement initiatives and lead the implementation of modern consolidation tool .
Collaborate with Corporate Finance & Controlling, IT, and local financial teams on month and year end closing, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
Act as point of contact for external and internal audits , including technical accounting matters.
Manage ad hoc financial and accounting projects with full responsibility for project lifecycle : planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution.
Coordinate the annual goodwill impairment process in partnership with global finance teams.
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Economics .
15+ years’ experience , ideally in multinational companies and / or Big 4 firms.
Deep expertise in consolidation systems, processes , and international accounting standards (IFRS & US GAAP).
Hands-on experience in SAP, Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Strong project management skills , and ability to lead in matrix structures.
Fluent in English, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills across cultures and functions.
Experience with ESG is considered a plus.
