Responsibilities
- Build & Maintain Infrastructure : Design, implement, and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure to support our digital platforms.
- Automate & Optimize : Develop CI / CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure smooth software releases.
- Monitor & Secure : Implement monitoring, logging, and security measures to guarantee platform stability and data protection.
- Support Development Teams : Collaborate with developers to improve workflows and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Enhance Scalability : Ensure our infrastructure can scale efficiently as Waterleau expands its digital offerings.
- Stay Ahead of Trends : Continuously explore new DevOps tools and best practices to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.
Competencies / skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or equivalent).Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, etc.).Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or equivalent).Experience with monitoring & logging tools.Security mindset : Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management.Ability to work independently on complex projects and provide solutions to infrastructure challenges.Passion for water conservation and sustainability—understanding that our work has a real impact.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to balance long-term stability with pragmatic solutions.Comfortable working in a diverse, international environment with both in-office and remote colleagues.Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
