We’re looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer / Tech Lead to lead the migration of data pipelines from Snowflake to Databricks. This is a critical role for a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in data engineering, distributed computing, and leadership.
What You'll Do :
- Lead end-to-end migration of data pipelines from Snowflake to Databricks.
- Design, build, and optimize ETL workflows and data processing pipelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure smooth migration.
- Apply data engineering best practices to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and implement cost-optimization opportunities for data infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in an Agile environment (Scrum).
- Ensure coding quality through real-time testing (Python, SQL, Tableau).
Must-Have Skills :
Fluent Portuguese and English (C1 level or higher).4+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles.Proficient in Python and SQL (validated via live coding tests).Strong experience with ETL orchestration tools such as Airflow, Flink, Oozie, or Azkaban on AWS or GCP .4+ years working with distributed data ecosystems (e.g., Spark, Hive, Druid, Presto).Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL , and Tableau .Excellent understanding of database design and performance tuning.Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and support the engineering team.Work Schedule :
