A leading Portuguese tech company is seeking an experienced E2E Core Testing Engineer to support high-impact telecom projects in Saudi Arabia and Portugal . If you have hands-on experience in IMS, PaCO , and SDM testing , and have previously worked on Nokia or Huawei Core Networks, this is an excellent opportunity to make a global impact.
Key Responsibilities :
Test Execution & Troubleshooting
- Execute detailed E2E test scenarios across IMS, PaCO, and SDM components
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure verification of corrections
- Support issue troubleshooting and escalate defects when needed
Defect Management
Log, track, and resolve defects using customer-specified toolsCreate and share defect and test progress reportsWork closely with Defect Managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolutionsCollaboration & Communication
Interface with cross-functional teams (Test Managers, TPMs, PMs)Provide test case requirements and align on test plans with Nokia / Huawei leadsDeliver consistent updates and documentation aligned with customer standardsTechnical Scope :
Setup and maintain connectivity to testbeds and production networksProvide and manage all agreed operation guides, installation procedures, and documentation (EPF, DNP, TPD)Ensure delivery of necessary tools, software / firmware, and release notes (including 3rd-party products)Out of Scope :

Saudi Arabia – Full On-sitePortugal – Remote or Hybrid (TBD)The service period will be divided between two locations, with alternating 3-month periods in each. For example, the professional will initially spend 3 months in Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar), followed by 3 months in another location of their choice (not necessarily in Portugal, but preferably within Europe). After this period in their country of residence, the professional will return to spend another 3 months in Saudi Arabia — totaling 6 months per year in that location.The exact location in Saudi Arabia is Al-Khobar. The professional will stay in a private hotel room, conveniently located near the office.The 3-month period in Saudi Arabia is due to the tourist visa duration. After that, the professional will return to their country of residence. The professional will be responsible for managing the visa process.The professional will receive a budget to cover round-trip transportation, accommodation, and other relevant expenses. In other words, they will receive their salary according to the final rate, plus the budget for additional costs.We will not be responsible for health insurance.
