Job Description
The Renewal Manager is responsible for owning and executing renewal agreements in an assigned territory. They will leverage their renewal experience and negotiation skills to secure on time renewals that maximize retention, uplifts, length, and growth while utilizing as standard a process and paperwork as possible.
Responsibilities
- Manage the renewal process inclusive of quote creation for a defined set of customers with small to mid-size renewals to secure renewals, modify pricing, and negotiate as needed.
- Review billed renewals for accuracy and content including contract, product, and account review to contact customers proactively and reactively.
- Communicate the value proposition for the renewal to the customer, primarily working from auto-bills or basic price proposals.
- Assist in expanded negotiations as needed to bring to successful closure renewals for assigned customers as needed
- Forecast renewal pricing, timing, and risks. Communicate reporting to leadership team after review from senior level.
- Track and maintain accurate customer data and renewal notes in appropriate company systems
- Collaborate internally with customer success and support to provide customer assistance related to the renewal and discuss product benefits.
- Discover and collaborate with sales for development and closure of leads and to increase revenue
- Read, comprehend, and explain legal agreements to understand and provide feedback
