Summarized Purpose :

Evidera is seeking a Sr Account Director, Business Development with proven skills in business development, client management, and stakeholder engagement to drive the success of our consulting practice areas.

Evidera offers strategic support to executives in leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies. Our work leverages scientific research, data analysis, and extensive experience to support critical commercial and development decisions, including product strategy, opportunity assessment, evidence generation, competitive strategy, and market access.

This role offers a unique entrepreneurial opportunity for candidates experienced in advising and securing new clients, with a solid understanding of life sciences and market issues in RWE - Patient Centered Research and Data Analytics . Essential Functions

  • Client Account & Relationship Management
  • Develop new business opportunities within our consulting practice areas
  • Strategically plan and develop client accounts in collaboration with scientific research teams
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, legal, and support functions to drive business and meet sales targets

Qualifications

This role requires consultative, proactive sales activities targeting decision-makers and influencers at existing and new client contacts. The candidate should proactively identify and qualify opportunities, define solutions, and recommend pricing to meet strategic goals. The primary contact until project kickoff, then coordinate with relevant business areas for successful implementation. Act as a liaison between Evidera and PPD CRG on all business development activities and requirements.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience (5+ years or equivalent) demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job functions
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Direct sales experience in consultancy services within RWE space targeting biopharmaceutical and biotech accounts
  • Proven track record of developing mid- and high-level business contacts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage and expand relationships across Operations, Finance, and Marketing
  • Experience in sales lead development, professional presentations, managing sales processes, and contract negotiations
  • Understanding of sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs
  • Management Role

    No current management responsibilities, but potential for future growth

    Working Conditions and Environment :

  • Work performed in an office environment with exposure to office equipment
  • Occasional travel to client sites, both domestic and international, up to 50%
