We are looking for a Business Continuity Officer Trainee to join our Business Operations Team, based in Porto . You’ll report directly to the Head of Shared Services and work in close collaboration with international teams.

Key Accountabilities
- Maintaining and updating the Business Continuity Plans(BCP) for all group CSDs.
- Contributing to the Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and keeping an up-to-date inventory of critical business functions, tools and services.
- Maintaining and refining risk scenario inventories and aligning them with BIAs for robust planning.
- Supporting the development and improvement of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures based on identified risks.
- Coordinating regular testing of BCPs, including SNS (Simple Notification Service) alerts, crisis management, disaster recovery, and insolvency procedures.
- Ensuring that Business Continuity training is scheduled and delivered to relevant stakeholders.
- Participating in Business Continuity governance meetings and providing input for annual reports to local Management and Boards.
- Collaborating with the Group Business Continuity Manager, as well as Risk and Compliance teams on strategic and regulatory topics.
- Reporting progress and updates regularly to the local Business Continuity Managers and escalating risks or unresolved issues as needed.
- Supporting cross-border coordination and documentation updates across multiple countries and stakeholders
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics , or a related fieldEligible for an IEFP Level VI InternshipInterested in risk assessment, governance frameworks, and operational planningSolid organizational and time management skills — comfortable planning, coordinating and tracking activities across teams.Excellent written and verbal communication — able to contribute to internal documentation and training materials.Organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlinesA strong communicator (both written and verbal), fluent in EnglishProactive, responsible, and eager to learn in a multicultural and multi-country environmentProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of the post-trade value chain or financial sector is a plusApply by submitting a CV in English
