YOUR ROLE
As an Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer on our team, you’ll :
Management Systems :
- Support on the implementation and follow up of EHS management systems, considering the international standards, EHS Policy, legal requirements, customer requirements and others that the organization subscribes.
- Support on the implementation and follow up of Aptiv procedures
- Support on system’s enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Participate in the definition of awareness communication, internal and external, about the policy, objectives and action plans.
- Support the preparation and follow up on Corporate audits
- Support on ensuring timely closure of Corporate findings (CAPs)
- Participate on LWDC investigations and preparation of safety bulletins on site
- Support on ensuring timely response of monthly environmental metrics and monthly safety metrics
- Support preparation of external and internal audits
- Support on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification processes
- Lead and implement ISO 50001 certification processes
- Support the deployment of training programs driven by corporate
- Focus on Leading Indicators (ex : training)
- Support on the execution and proper management of change of Environmental aspects and impacs identification and evaluation and occupational H&S risk assessment
- Support on the implementation and follow up of the Emergency Response Plan
- Support on the implementation and follow up of the Outbreak Plan
- Support on the implementation and track of SOTs
- Support the execution of the Plan for Zero
- Understanding of sustainability and the carbon neutrality objectives and related activities
Operational Control :
Support on the implementation of look across processSupport on ensuring compliance with the requirements and execution of the different management routines associated with the following : Waste managementIndustrial Hygiene (chemical, PPE, Radiation, Noise, Laser, Asbestos, Lead, etc.)Confined spacesFall hazardsContractors controlPIV and Pedestrian SafetyErgonomicsMachine safety, LockoutWater and wastewaterAir qualityVisitors orientationYOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are :

University degree in Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or similar.A technical course in Occupational Health and Safety.At least 2 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) roles.Good knowledge of the ISO standards : 14001 (Environmental Management), 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and 50001 (Energy Management)EnglishStrong ability to work with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.WHY JOIN US?
