Job Title : BI Operations Engineer (PowerBI)

Location : Portugal

Work Regime : Fulltime & Remote

Overview / Summary :

We are looking for a BI Operations Engineer (PowerBI) to join our company!

Responsibilities :

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Power BI and Tableau;
Provide advanced troubleshooting support following ITIL principles;
Manage user access roles and licensing across BI platforms;
Monitor platform performance and apply preventive maintenance;
Configure and customize BI platforms based on business requirements;
Ensure compliance with data protection and security regulations;
Respond to customer inquiries and deliver highquality technical support;
Collaborate with internal IT data and infrastructure teams;
Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual work;
Create and maintain technical documentation and standard procedures;
Identify opportunities for platform optimization and innovation;
Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders suggesting strategic improvements;
Stay up to date with BI trends platform updates and best practices.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements :

Advanced knowledge of PowerBI;

Experience in troubleshooting and problemsolving related to BI platforms with focus on Power BI Tableau;

Familiarity with fundamental concepts of platform management and user administration;

Experience in configuring and customizing platforms according to business requirements;

Experience handling customer inquiries and issue resolution in complex environments following ITIL principles;

Deep understanding of IT systems platform security and data protection regulations;

Strong communication and customer service skills;

Ability to identify platform performance issues diagnose and resolve complex technical problems;

Experience collaborating with internal technical teams and support experts;

Knowledge of automating operational processes to improve efficiency;

Ability to identify synergies and potentials and provide advisory support;

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Complementary Requirements :

Practical experience with Qlik (on prem and cloud);

Experience with multinational teams;

German skills.

Mandatory Requirements : 8+ years of professional experience relevant for the role; Vast experience with Vanilla Javascript; Experience with or ; Experience with Azure Cloud is a plus. Experience with New Relic is a Plus. Use state management like Redux or other.
