Asenium is recruiting an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support infrastructure and cloud solutions across our client’s environment.

Location : Remote (Portugal-based only)

Travel : Occasional travel might be required

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform , CloudFormation , or similar tools
  • Monitor cloud environments and ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with application needs
  • Enforce cloud security best practices and handle incident resolution

Required Skills :

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services : EC2 , S3 , VPC , IAM , RDS , CloudWatch , Lambda , etc.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting (e.g., Python , Bash , PowerShell )
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines , DevOps practices , and container services like ECS or EKS
  • Fluent in English ; Portuguese is a plus
  • Must be based in Portugal
