Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support and optimize the infrastructure of one of our key projects in Lisbon .

Location : Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain LAN / WAN , firewalls , and VPN solutions

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues

Ensure network security and compliance with corporate standards

Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments

Work with cloud and on-premise network systems

Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation

Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure efficient network operations

Manage routing , switching , and load balancing configurations

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in network engineering

Strong experience with Cisco , Fortinet , or Juniper environments

Solid understanding of TCP / IP , BGP , OSPF , and firewall management

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios)

Familiar with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Knowledge of IT security policies , VPNs , and remote access protocols

Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python scripting is a plus)

Relevant certifications such as CCNA , CCNP , or Fortinet NSE are a strong plus

Fluent in English (B2 minimum). Portuguese is a plus
