Talent On Board Srl is looking for, on behalf of a leading European company specialized in structural reinforcement solutions and part of an international industrial group, a Sales Representative to join its team in Portugal (location : Lisbon area) .

This figure will play a key role in driving commercial success of the company. Responding to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This is a strategic and client-facing role, combining technical advisory with sales execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Implementation : implement the sales strategy for the structural strengthening product line, organizing and coordinating related commercial activities.
  • Client Advisory and Product Promotion : advise clients on the product range, including specifications, pricing, delivery terms, warranties, usage guidelines, and available services. Promote the company’s products and services actively across relevant markets and stakeholders.
  • Commercial Planning and Monitoring : participate in the design and execution of commercial action plans to achieve sales objectives. Monitor and report on the execution of commercial plans, ensuring alignment with defined targets.
  • Pricing and Sales Policy Definition : define pricing structures, discount policies, and sales programs according to the Country Manager’s decisions.
  • Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, planners, building owners, local authorities, universities, and other stakeholders.
  • Market Research and Business Opportunity Analysis : conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
  • Fairs and Events : representing the company at industry fairs and events.
  • Quality Management Support and Improvement : collaborate with Management and the Quality Department to support the Quality Management System, including identifying and reporting opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance and Corporate Policy Adherence : Ensure compliance with the company’s image and communication policy, as defined by Management and the Simpson Group, while upholding service quality and a client-oriented approach. Comply with applicable laws, internal codes of conduct, and all corporate policies established by the company and the Simpson Group.
  • Commercial Documentation Preparation : Prepare and deliver commercial offers and technical information as requested. Conduct technical presentations to different stakeholders.
  • Additional Operational Tasks : Perform additional tasks relevant to the role or necessary for the continuity and development of business operations.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Background : Degree in Civil Engineering or similar – required
  • Previous experience : Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure sectors
  • Hard skills : In-depth knowledge of the local market and business environment, Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Soft skills : creativity in solving problems or generating improvement ideas, prioritization competing or conflicting requests, strong communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and vision
  • Languages : Fluent in English (Portuguese and Spanish are a plus)
  • Availability : Monday-Friday full time role, willingness to travel (up to 25%)
