The Research Analyst is an exciting position responsible for market research, strategic analysis, and innovation monitoring in the booming world of streaming technologies.Within the Business & Strategy Department, you will be part of the Research team working closely with Tech teams
- Location : The position is based in Lisbon, with the possibility of teleworking 94 days a year (2 days a week) with the flexibility of being able to work more or less depending on the periods of the year
- Requirements : Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor trends in tech and streaming industries worldwide and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations in advertising-based (AVOD) and subscription-based (SVOD) worldsAnalyze Bedrock’s competition in D2C and B2B, benchmark local / global streaming services worldwide and provide actionable insightsIdentify best-practices from global streaming leaders, local TV players or telcos / MVPDs and build market-based recommendations (ex : on-boarding, video features, advertising formats, distribution strategy, commercial bundles, etc.)Report on tech keynotes (WWDC, Google IO, etc.), test new product / features and coordinate with Bedrock teams to deliver quick-win opportunities and feed our long-term roadmapOrganize collaborations with Product and Tech teams to build and share a common understanding of trends and innovations within the companySummarize and present market analysis and key features to Bedrock clients and analyze their feedback to constantly improve our understanding of their business needsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Master from top Engineering school, Business school or University5+ years of professional experience in at least one of the following roles :analyst in a Technology / Media department of a major consulting firm,innovation / strategy role at an international tech company.Strong interest for streaming technologies (devices, ecosystems), AI and new technologies and video services (AVOD, SVOD, TV bundles, etc.) is a mustOutstanding quantitative, research and analytical skillsGreat ability to work on multiple subjects with various deadlines and to prioritize accordinglyExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsProactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives in a fun and demanding environmentKnowledge and experience of the media industry is a plus (distribution, business, regulation)Beyond technical skills, we are looking for talents with :
