Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to bridge the gap between Development and Operation s, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of cloud-based products and services. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational processes, with a strong focus on high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and continuous deployment.

As a Cloud Operations Engineer , you will work closely with product delivery teams, architects, and security specialists to deploy, administer, and enhance cloud environments. You will also be part of a 24 / 7 on-call rotation , responding to service incidents and leading incident resolution efforts in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure system availability, security, and performance, taking full ownership of cloud-based products.

Lead incident resolution efforts, balancing technical problem-solving with clear stakeholder communication.

Participate in a 24 / 7 on-call rotation, responding to service issues with urgency and efficiency.

Automate manual processes through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Collaborate with development teams to align DevOps and operational best practices.

Monitor cloud infrastructure and optimize scalability, disaster recovery, and CI / CD pipelines.

Improve observability through log analysis, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

Work with distributed computing, Kubernetes, containers, and serverless technologies.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise :

• Strong background in Operating Systems : Windows, Linux, and / or macOS.
• Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or Python.
• Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI / CD : Experience in building, maintaining, and automating infrastructure.
• DevOps & SRE Practices : Familiarity with software / system engineering, incident response, and toil reduction.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills :

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in Cloud & DevOps Roles : 3-5 years in SysAdmin, DevOps, SRE, IT Operations, Development, or QA Engineering.

Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Experience working in customer-facing, complex technical environments.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
