You will lead an SRE team aligned with one or more practices or TE domains. You will manage the SRE roadmap, and priorities for the team while driving adoption of firm-standard components and services in collaboration with CSM and TE teams.

You will advocate DevSecOps best practices, and guarantee the performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of the assigned products and platforms. You will combine ‘Agile’ with expertise in cloud, big data and mobile to create and maintain custom solutions, in a way consistent with SRE principles, that help clients increase productivity and make timely decision.

You will provide personal and technical mentorship to 2-5 senior reliability engineers. You will be a thought partner that communicates effectively across a broad range of stakeholder groups from engineers to business users and can connect to business and operational implications.

You’ll join our Lisbon or Prague office as part of the Managed Cloud Services – Client Solution Services group (MCS-CSS). You will work with various product teams with a focus on application reliability, scalability and availability running in container infrastructure. This group is responsible to develop new products / services and integrating them into our client work. It's a team of skilled engineers who work in a pure SRE mindset, providing reliable infrastructure and further develop towards enhancing the products. Your team members are located across the world in different time zones (Czech Republic, Germany, India, USA, Costa Rica).

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent area; advanced degree is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with software engineering best practices
• 4+ years of experience building native cloud solutions in either AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure
• Experience in project coordination
• Agile and SRE / DevSecOps mindset
• Able to work independently and mentor colleagues
• Desired knowledge in specific technologies : Public Cloud platforms (preferably AWS); containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm); web and database products and rest APIs (e.g., Nginx, Postgres, Mongo, Redis); network protocols and security, load balancing; programming (preferably Python or Golang); IaC (preferably Terraform); SCM and CI / CD tooling (e.g., GitHub, Jfrog); observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk)
