Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support the start-up and commissioning of water treatment plants, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet design specifications.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation of membrane technologies (UF, RO, IEX, ACF, etc.).
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to optimize plant performance and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with SCADA and automation teams to ensure seamless integration and monitoring of water treatment processes.
- Provide on-site training for plant operators and end-users on system operation and maintenance.
- Document all commissioning activities, including testing reports, operational manuals, and best practices.
- Travel internationally (40-50% of the time, with assignments of up to 2 months) to various project sites for plant start-up and optimization. Possibility of spending the first 6-12 months in Dublin.
Profile
Required Skills and Experience
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Experience in water treatment technologies such as UF, RO, and IEX is a significant advantage.Strong understanding of membrane filtration systems and water purification processes.Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial water treatment plants is a plus.Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial automation is a plus.Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage.Willingness to travel extensively and work internationally for extended periods.What We Offer
