AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon !

Responsibilities :

Design, set up, and manage secure, scalable AWS Cloud environments;

Support high-availability applications by optimizing and maintaining cloud infrastructure;

Monitor and troubleshoot core infrastructure services, system outages, performance issues, and deployment failures;

Implement cost management strategies and optimize cloud resource usage across the organization;

Establish access policies and ensure data integrity and security for cloud services;

Manage software build and release processes, particularly with GitLab and related DevOps tools;

Conduct security scanning and auditing of systems and network configurations;

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure stable, secure, and high-performance environments.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline;

Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing AWS environments;

Expert-level knowledge of core AWS services, architectural best practices, and cost-efficiency strategies;

Solid grasp of foundational web protocols and networking concepts, including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and load balancing solutions;

Proficient with infrastructure automation tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments;

Strong English communication skills.
