WHAT YOU WILL DO

Architect, develop, and execute on our technology roadmap, transitioning from early-stage prototypes to scalable and resilient full-scale production backend services;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company’s overarching strategy;
Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, data flow, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business and market trends;
Deliver technology solutions that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, driving the company’s growth and success;
Continuously stay updated with the latest trends in backend and web3 development, ensuring Bastion remains at the forefront of technological advancements;
Establish a scalable tech architecture that not only supports current business needs but also adapts to future market dynamics and customer demands;
At least 4 hs overlap with EST is required.

MUST HAVES

3+ years of backend engineering experience ;

Strong programming skills in at least one backend technology ( Go, Rust, Python, Scala );

Experience with cloud platforms and databases ;

Proven ability to design robust systems and APIs from the ground up;

Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and security best practices;

Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

Significant open-source contributions;

Prior experience integrating with web3 protocols or blockchain systems;

Experience working in a startup environment.

Requirements
