Angular Frontend Developer (mid-level)

Caixa Mágica Software is a leading Portuguese company in the Open Source market segments in Portugal. We provide various services, ranging from specialised business consulting, software project development, and research and innovation. We develop various projects with different implementation targets. We are actively involved with Open Source communities, organising a popular event in Lisbon and participating in several research projects funded by the European Union. Caixa Mágica maintains strong ties with the Portuguese public administration, participating in the development of middleware for the Portuguese Citizen Card system and extending the concept to standardisation and compliance with other European systems. We also maintain close ties with the Innovation and Research departments of various sectors, such as telecommunications and media, energy, mobile systems, and cloud-based platforms to support manufacturing systems.

What are we looking for?

• Academic background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Between 3-5 years of professional experience with Angular.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS, and RxJS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP services.
• Familiarity with state management (NgRx or Akita).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Version control using Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• English and portuguese fluent.
• Based in Portugal.
