We are looking a Technical Consultant (Fly-in Expert) to support app development, governance, and operations on the Mendix-based CLAP platform. Responsibilities include template / component creation, cloud and security oversight, agile coaching, and vendor coordination. Strong low-code expertise, especially in Mendix, and availability within 2–4 weeks required.

Tasks

As a consulting / fly-in expert for technical solutions, responsibilities include :

Development of application templates and reusable components
Management of the Continental Marketplace App Store
Creation of development guidelines and best practices
Design and enforcement of governance rules
Documentation maintenance
Ensuring security compliance
Code quality assurance to uphold technical standards
Operation and administration of the Mendix Cloud & Control Center
Operation and continuous improvement of the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
Implementation of change requests related to the CLAP platform
Community engagement through learning sessions, videos, and FAQs
Providing consulting and delivering training sessions
Vendor management
Acting as an agile coach and project journey facilitator

Excellent communication skills

Competencies

Solid professional background in IT, especially in software solution development

Proficiency in the Mendix low-code platform; Advanced to Expert certification preferred

Interest in modern cloud platforms and technologies such as AI, IoT, and Kubernetes

Experience with complementary technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Git, and basic AWS services

Proven success in managing complex development projects and leading teams / coaching initiatives

Strong understanding of IT standards (e.g., operating systems, security, agile methodologies) and hands-on experience in software implementation, development, and system architecture design
