• Proven experience as a Character Concept Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing stylized work;
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant 2D digital art tools;
• Solid understanding of anatomy, form, color theory, and design principles;
• Strong artistic taste and ability to deliver high-quality concepts aligned with project requirements;
• Knowledge of concept development pipelines for 3D modeling and animation;
• Ability to maintain consistency within a defined art style and follow creative direction;
• Understanding of the art development process in game production;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams;
• Strong self-management skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines;
• Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation.

As a part of Room 8

studio, you will

Create compelling and original stylized character concepts that align with the game’s visual direction, creative brief, and estimated timelines;

Collaborate closely with Art Directors and partner production teams to design a wide variety of characters across different settings and visual styles;

Support character development from ideation to final concept, ensuring designs are functional for 3D production and consistent with project goals;

Coordinate with Managers and Project Leads to maintain high visual standards and contribute to the optimization of production pipelines;

Implement feedback from both internal and external Art Leads in a timely and comprehensive manner, maintaining flexibility and adaptability throughout iterations.
