Description

Select, hire, and monitor the performance of logistics service providers by geographic area, based on technical, economic, and environmental criteria;

Manage and coordinate logistics operations related to the collection and transportation of waste in the northern region of the country, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards;

Manage dedicated logistics operations and monitor reverse logistics, ensuring flexibility and efficiency;

Monitor the optimization of routes proposed by logistics operators;

Ensure that the collection schedules under dedicated logistics are best suited to the stores and comply with any local restrictions;

Participate in the budgeting process for logistics costs;

Supervise and audit the performance of contracted logistics operators;

Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), both operational and environmental.

Profile

University degree in Industrial Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field;

Proven experience in managing logistics operations, preferably in the waste management, logistics and transport, or retail distribution sectors;

Fluency in English;

Solid knowledge of logistics management tools and route optimization systems;

Strong results orientation and problem-solving skills;

Ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes based on data and feedback from various stakeholders;

Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders.
