YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the development we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (M / F) to support innovation and product development in Vila Nova de Cerveira

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead , your main responsibilities will include :

• Participate in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components for recreational boats and marine equipment
• Prepare detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX)
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations (e.g., stress analysis, tolerance studies, thermal and fluid dynamics)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, naval architecture, composites, production) to deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure that components and assemblies meet performance, safety, and durability requirements
• Support prototyping , validation testing, and analysis of failures (root cause analysis)
• Participate in design reviews , prepare documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards , company design procedures, and marine industry regulations
