Descrição da vaga

Support legacy semiconductor equipment at the cutting edge of engineering service.

Are you a tool-savvy engineer with experience in electroplating or wet chemistry systems? Do you thrive in hands-on environments and want to join a fast-growing company making a real impact in the semiconductor value chain?

We’re looking for an Equipment Engineer to join a specialist in legacy tool refurbishment and support — ideally based in Portugal (Porto).

This is a key hire to support a growing service contract portfolio, including a major customer site in Porto. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team with access to global technical support and career growth into technical leadership or management.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Maintenance & Repair – Deliver corrective and preventative maintenance on Semitool Raider systems, and related equipment.
  • Installations & De-installs – Lead tool moves and ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Technical Troubleshooting – Analyse faults and liaise with senior engineers for second-line support.
  • Training & Documentation – Share knowledge with customers and contribute to internal best practices.
  • Wider Support – Occasionally travel to other European customer sites to provide expert-level assistance.

What You Bring :

  • Experience with Semitool Raider or comparable wet processing tools.
  • Solid grounding in electroplating, etch, or chemistry-based equipment.
  • Hands-on background in equipment engineering or tool maintenance (not process-only).
  • Fluent English communication and a valid driver’s licence.
  • Comfortable with European travel (~25%) and willing to train abroad in Asia (4-8 weeks).
  • Why This Role?

  • Grow with a business scaling across Europe and globally — expect 40–50% YoY growth.
  • Own your area – specialise in a key toolset with future options to lead a technical stream.
  • Flat, high-trust structure – minimal politics, maximum autonomy.
  • Visible impact – work directly with customers and technical leadership.
  • Long-term upside – move into management or broaden into new tools as the business grows.
  • This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business where agility, accountability, and engineering pride go hand-in-hand.

    Apply now to be considered.
