Azure Infrastructure Engineer

We are actively involved with Open Source communities, organising a popular event in Lisbon and participating in several research projects funded by the European Union. Caixa Mágica maintains strong ties with the Portuguese public administration , participating in the development of middleware for the Portuguese Citizen Card system and extending the concept to standardisation and compliance with other European systems. We also maintain close ties with the Innovation and Research departments of various sectors, such as telecommunications and media, energy, mobile systems, and cloud-based platforms to support manufacturing systems.

What are we looking for?

Academic background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management.

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Strong knowledge of Terraform for IaC.

Practical experience with Ansible for configuration management.

Experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, among others.

Experience with Docker and / or Kubernetes container management.

Proficient in scripting languages : Bash, PowerShell, and / or Python .

Solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP / IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP / HTTPS.

English and portuguese fluent.

Based in Portugal.
