Contract Length : 12-Months

Location : Portugal (Fully Remote)

Day Rate : €275 (B2B / LLC or Registered Freelancer)

Start Date : ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Scala Engineer to support our client for 6-months by providing high quality code within their Video Platform Team. You’ll be an expert in Scala and be confident that you can hit the ground running and make an impact from early. The Scala Engineer will maintain the teams operational capacity and support purely on the Scala Backend services.

Experience Needed :

Highly experienced Software Engineer specifically in Scala

Database experience preferably Postgres or similar

AWS experience

Experience working with modern testing practices.

SCRUM methodology

Event streaming / queues (Kafka)

Golang would be a big bonus if you have it.
