Role Overview :

We are looking for a Virtualization Engineer (Mid-Junior) to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working for clients in the Netherlands and other European countries. You will be supporting the operational migration of enterprise workloads from VMware environments (and others) to Red Hat OpenShift. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be a technically proficient professional that thrives in infrastructure transformation projects and is passionate about containerization, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

What you will do :

• Execute end-to-end migration of virtualized workloads to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform;
• Perform detailed assessments of existing environments to identify migration candidates and dependencies;
• Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to ensure seamless workload transitions;
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues during and after migration, ensuring minimal downtime and performance impact;
• Implement and optimize OpenShift clusters for scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support day-to-day operations of OpenShift environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
