Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting a  Field Services Engineer for Aveiro / Oporto South area, preferably.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Provide instrument service and support mostly in monitor / defibrillators, and Respiratory Ventilators equipments.
  • Including installation, preventive maintenance interventions, equipment failure diagnostics and repair, interventions quotations, initial operator training and security modification and upgrade.
  • Manage workflow, client interfacing and company requirements and procedures providing the best customer experience, and proper incident reporting.
  • Escalate support needs to manufacturers.
  • Answer to client requests – Providing part number, quotations, and other technical support.
  • Work together with the Backoffice and the Key Account Managers.

Requirements :

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Graduated in electronics or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a technician in a similar role.
  • Experience in monitoring / defibrillators systems, and Respiratory Ventilators equipments;
  • Technical assistance in life support systems.
  • Build cooperative relationships and work team.
  • Languages : Portuguese and English, Spanish will be valued.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office).
