Grants & Incentives Associate
LGG Advisors , with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid, provides a multitude of high added-value consultancy services to financial sector firms globally. Our team provides an array of comprehensive services catering specifically to our client’s unique and evolving circumstances which require creative and careful consideration, decision making, and guidance.
Due to expanding business, the firm is looking to hire an Associate for our Porto or Lisbon office to oversee client engagements in the Incentives team.
Description :
- Join a growing Incentives team in a fast-paced consultancy environment
- Lead client engagements focused on funding opportunities and tax benefits
- Contribute to strategic business development and team growth
- Work across diverse sectors with national and European funding frameworks
Responsibilities :
Develop and manage applications to Portuguese and European funding programs (e.g., SI Internationalization, SI Innovation for Industry and Tourism, SI I&D, Horizon Europe)Coordinate and execute applications for tax benefit programs such as SIFIDE, and RFA IStay up to date with relevant incentives and funding opportunitiesProactively manage client projects, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely deliveryEvaluate and improve the technical and economic feasibility of client projectsQualifications :
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Management, or Engineering (preferred)3+ years of experience as a consultant in Portuguese and European incentive applicationsExperience in the preparation and coordination of applications , namely under Portugal 20 30, PRR and Horizon EuropeFluency in Portuguese (native) and English (proficient)A dvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointRequirements :
Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high performing teamsExcellent time management and strong attention to detailAnalytical and critical thinking abilitiesExceptional writing, communication, and argumentation skillsCapacity to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesAdaptability and flexibility in a dynamic consultancy environmentDiferentials :
Proven success in obtaining funding, namely through Portugal 2030, PRR or European Commission programsExperience with the full lifecycle of applications across national and European frameworksBackground in evaluating technical and financial feasibility of R&D and innovation projectsFamiliarity with the Portuguese and European innovation ecosystemWhat we offer
