Work Regime : Fulltime Onsite or Hybrid Up to 30% Travel

Reports to : Technical Director of Training and Innovation

Overview / Summary :

We are looking for a Training Consultant to act as a specialist in training and upskilling technical teams in the automotive industry focusing on thermal systems refrigeration and onboard climate control. The consultant will ensure that technicians product engineers and aftersales teams stay up to date with best practices and cuttingedge HVACR technologies including those in electric and hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

Develop and deliver training sessions on :

Automotive HVAC systems (onboard climate control)

Cooling circuits for batteries and inverters (thermal management in EVs)

Climate control electronic components and controllers (HVAC ECU sensors valves electric compressors)

Techniques for charging evacuating and diagnosing automotive refrigerant gases (R1234yf CO )

Safety standards (ISO 13043 SAE J639 etc.)

Create tailored training materials for authorized workshops test centers and validation teams.

Conduct technical workshops with R&D quality maintenance and aftersales departments.

Follow the launch of new models and updates to onboard thermal systems.

Support the technical homologation of workshops (certifications for refrigerant handling diagnostic equipment etc.).

Serve as a liaison between the training center product engineering and technical customer support.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements :

• Technical or university degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Electrical Engineering or Refrigeration.
• 3 years of experience with automotive HVAC thermal testing or embedded systems.
• Knowledge in :
• Refrigeration cycles in light and heavy vehicles
• Electric vehicle thermal management systems (TMS)
• Pressure leak and energy efficiency testing
• Reading and diagnosing DTCs via CANBus OBDII
• Simulation software (CoolSim Refprop Amesim etc.)
• Valid certification in handling fluorinated gases (e.g. FGas or EU equivalent)
• Fluent Portuguese (C2 or native)
• Advanced technical English (minimum C1 essential for working with OEM / Tier 1 documentation)
• Spanish German or French are strong assets especially in international training settings
• Availability to travel and conduct onsite visits to factories / workshops / training locations
