We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to work in Lisbon who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is the challenge about :

Manage and support Oracle databases in complex, mission-critical environments.
Administer and troubleshoot other DBMSs like PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Sybase, and optionally MariaDB / MySQL.
Optimize SQL queries, analyze execution plans, and conduct performance tuning.
Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production systems.
Automate tasks and use monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, pgAdmin, etc.
Support database environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Actively participate in technical discussions and collaborative problem-solving.

What we are looking for :

5+ years of professional experience as a DBA , with expert-level Oracle administration skills.

Solid hands-on experience with PostgreSQL , MSSQL , and Sybase .

Strong SQL scripting, shell scripting, and knowledge of Linux / Unix systems.

Experience with cloud-based database management ( OCI and AWS ).

Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Fluent in Portuguese and English - Mandatory. Non Portuguese Speakers won´t be considered for the position.

This role as an hybrid work model : 2 days per week onsite at our central Lisbon office.
